Continuing the liaison with South Africa and Katsaitis Music we present Blackcoffee feat. Bucie and their title Turn Me On. Blackcoffee is one of South Africas most respected house music artists and no stranger to GOGO Music as he belongs to the group SHANA, which already stormed the charts with our last release Uyangichomela. As a DJ Blackcoffee played in all South African top clubs and scooped a SAMA Award (South African Dance Music Award) for best dance album in 2006. To date his fame is by far not bordered to South Africa anymore, as he was for example chosen in 2006 and in 2007 to represent South Africa at the Red Bull academy in Barcelona, played numerous gigs in Europe and released on Real Tone Records.
For his Turn Me On track he features singer and songwriter Bucie. Some artists work for years to earn the name diva and be considered rock stars. But there is the elite few who are born just that and new music name, Bucie, belongs to that select list. The immensely talented young lady, released her first album Rock Star on Demor Music (owned by SHANAs A.T Sikhosana) and set the South African music scene ablaze with her sure-fire and aptly titled debut. The collaboration with Blackcoffee just proves her outstanding vocal talent once more and gained her additional well earned recognition.
After GOGO Musics extremely successful year 2008, including the taking of the top position in the sales charts of Traxsource with Kissing Strangers by Ralf GUM feat. Monique Bingham, we dont rest and are content to start 2009 with this special release. The Original Mix is already heavily played by Louie Vega and featured in his November and December radio mix. We are sure that the full release will make it to the cases of many more key players and every other tasteful DJ alike.

Following on from a highly successful 2008, Ralf Gum’s GOGO label shows us what to expect in 2009 with an absolutely gorgeous first release. Blackcoffee is a highly renowned DJ and producer hailing from South Africa, whilst singer and songwriter Bucie is also a highly recognised and respected singer from the same said country. The promo comes with mixes by Blackcoffee and Raw Artistic Soul. The Raw Artistic Soul mixes are great numbers, really deep and minimal whilst still maintaining a good balance of soul. There’s some great woodwind playing on the Raw Artistic Soul vocal dub mix with some very African influenced percussion. The Blackcoffee remix also heads in a deep and minimal direction that builds up beautifully. But after all said and done, this release for souledUp is all about the Original mix. When you have a track so very good, so near to perfect, it’s hard to better it by remixes.
